Thoughts For Young Men (and Women)

What can a man who ministered over 100 years ago teach us today? I’m glad you asked!

J.C. Ryle (1816-1900) was a leading evangelical minister in the Church of England and became the first bishop of Liverpool in 1880.

“I’ve got to incorporate this book into Reclamation Worship!”

I kept having this thought as my sons and I worked our way through Ryle’s Thoughts for Young Men. So, I reached out to Banner of Truth and they graciously gave me permission to record readings of this book to share with you.

Why would I take the time to record readings from this book that was first published over 130 years ago? Because I hope you will take the time to listen and consider how you could share this great resource with your son or grandson. Ladies, there are truths in this little book that are not bound by gender so my hope is that you’d also listen and share these truths with your daughter or granddaughter.

My sons and I have been mining the gems from this book together and we are benefiting greatly. Consider clicking on the logo below and purchasing a copy of this book. Whether you listen or buy the book, I pray this resource will prove fruitful as you endeavor to disciple the next generation.
